Spring Tryouts!

Spring 2008 Breakers Tryout Information

Tryouts for the 2008/2009 Breakers Soccer Teams will take place this May. All tryouts will be from 6-8 pm at the SYSA South Complex; players must attend both tryout dates. The following are the ages and dates:

Boys U12 - May 5th & 6th

Girls U12 - May 7th and 8th

Boys & Girls U13 - May 12th and 13th

Boys & Girls U14 - May 14th and 15th

Boys & Girls U15 - May 19th & 20th

Boys & Girls U16 - May 21st and 22nd

Boys & Girls U17 - May 21st and 22nd

Boys & Girls U18/19 - May 21st and 22nd

Birth Date cutoffs:

U12 - Born on or after Aug 1, 1996

U13 - Born on or after Aug 1, 1995

U14 - Born on or after Aug 1, 1994

U15 - Born on or after Aug 1, 1993

U16 - Born on or after Aug 1, 1992

U17 - Born on or after Aug 1, 1991

U18/19 - Born on or after Aug 1, 1989/90

About the Breakers and Select Soccer

Select soccer is the second most competitive program within WSYSA. The Select program is for above average to very good soccer players. All tryouts are open to players between the ages of 11 and 18. There are different clubs based on geographical location within the city of Spokane.

The Breakers Soccer Club covers Spokane's South Hill. Players will generally attend Ferris and Lewis & Clark High Schools, or Sacajawea and Chase Middle Schools. Cheney players may tryout for the Breakers if no team is available in your area.
